at the works of your hands I sing for joy.
Psalm 92:4
My small group met for the last time on May 31st. Libby and I took the girls out for ice cream cones and then we walked up the hill overlooking Kandern. We spend some time visiting before I shared the gospel message and Libby shared about sanctification. Our evening closed with praying for each other and saying good-byes. Some of our girls will not be back at BFA next year as they go to the States for a home assignment. We ended our beautiful evening together watching the sunset.
Side Notes...
I arrived in San Diego on Saturday, June 18 and will spend my first two weeks connecting with friends and supporters there. During this time, I will also be contacting people in the Redding area to arrange to meet with them during the following four weeks. I then have one more week in SD before flying back to Germany on August 8th.
God continues to provide for my summer needs, and I have been able to line up borrowing a car for the times I will be in San Diego, thanks to two gracious families from Canyon Community Church.
All seven of my algebra students passed their final exam!!!! You can all do the happy dance with me now!
Please Pray...
For the graduating class, for protection in travels over the summer, and that they would each seek after Christ and His Kingdom as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
For another resource teacher at the high school. I will still be teaching the resource algebra class, and currently, I am the only resource teacher at the high school. But I am thankful that it looks like we will have another part-time resource teacher at the middle school to work along side James.
That my heart and mind will be focused on God, and that I will place my trust fully on Him as I connect with everyone over the summer, share about my ministry at BFA, and work to raise my support back to 100% before returning to Germany in August.
