Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Heb. 4:14-16
Missionary Focus:
One of my student's families serves in a nearby city helping pastor a local, German church. This student has a visible passion for Jesus and enjoys serving at his church through his gift of music along side of his parents. His family is involved in reaching the German community and sharing the gospel with the people around them. While this student struggles academically, his joy for life and his desire to share the love and healing of Christ encourages me throughout each week.
Side Notes:
Thank you to all who prayed for my leading of the professional development time for math and science teachers.
The weather here has been gloriously warm for autumn and this has allowed for some much needed walks which help me relax and refresh my soul.
FaceTime and Skype are true blessings when friends and family are far away. Feel free to email me to arrange a time to meet "face-to-face".
Please Prayer...
For complete healing of my grandmother's hip.
For extra patience and wisdom when I feel discouraged with a student.
For support to raised by the elementary resource teacher and ELL teacher who are still not here. And for the staff that have been taking on extra loads to help in these areas.
